How we're working to respond to the challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in new areas of research for us as well as considerable challenges to the donation, storage and transplantation of blood, organs, tissues and stem cells.

However, with the help of donors, staff, partners and the wider NHS, crucial donation, manufacture and supply has been maintained, and new areas of research and development are underway.
