Shoppers applying for a Boots Advantage Card can easily register to become an organ donor.

Since our partnership began in 2000, Boots has provided a unique opportunity on the high street for shoppers applying for a Boots Advantage Card to register to become an organ donor. 

There are around 10 million active Boots Advantage Card members, of which around 90% are women. Women have been identified as key influencers for promoting organ donation, as they are more likely to start a conversation about donation with families.

An incredible 2.9 million customers have opted in to register as organ donors through our partnership.

Boots continue to support the drive for more blood and organ donors by promoting our national campaigns, such as Missing Type where they removed the O’s from its iconic logo  – signifying the blood group O - to draw attention to the importance of blood donors.
