Turn the skies pink for Organ Donation Week
Monday 23 September to Sunday 29 September 2024
This year, 2024, the NHS Organ Donor Register celebrates its 30th birthday, so for Organ Donation Week this September we want as many local landmarks and buildings across the country to turn pink, to help raise awareness of the incredible gift of organ donation, and to encourage people to confirm their decision on the Register.
Organ Donation Week 2024 will be held on Monday 23 September to Sunday 29 September.
We hope you can join us to celebrate the gift of life, the selfless act families of organ donors make and help us to highlight the incredible difference organ donation can make.
Think pink this Organ Donation Week
Organ Donation Week is the perfect time for people to confirm their support for organ donation by adding their name and decision to the NHS Organ Donor Register.
What better reminder for people to take two minutes to think of others than a big pink building! Pink is the colour of the organ donation card and the more buildings we can light up pink, the more attention we can give to this life-saving gift.
So whether it’s a local landmark, your local hospital, a council office building, school or university make sure you go pink this 30th year of the NHS Organ Donor Register!
