Educational resources for children and young people
Education is key to addressing young people’s concerns about organ, blood and stem cell donation. It can help them feel empowered to talk about donation with their families and make informed choices in the future.
Below are some free educational resources and initiatives which cover different aspects of donation. These are aimed at a range of age groups.
'Organ donation teaching resources' by NHS Blood and Transplant
We have developed free teaching resources, including three individual lesson plans and a condensed summary lesson for secondary school teachers to educate and empower 11-16-year-olds about organ and tissue donation.
'Hero project' by Anthony Nolan
