Thank you for helping us understand more about using oral iron supplements when pregnant.
We have some important questions you can help us to answer.
Having anaemia during pregnancy can affect choices, such as where someone can give birth, and in some cases it can impact the health of mum and baby.
We might be able to stop anaemia from developing if we give oral iron supplements during pregnancy.
We want to know:
- how much iron is the right amount to give women
- how we can help women to take their supplements as recommended
You are all helping us to answer these important questions, which could benefit women with their future pregnancies and may help to change national policies recommending that all women take iron throughout their pregnancy.
