Summary

The goal of this Blood and Transplant Research Unit (BTRU) is to progress the development of novel and effective gene and cell therapies; to further refine these therapies and develop the infrastructure to allow broader availability across the country. This work has the potential to impact upon thousands of patients with either inherited genetic disorders or cancers, and to bring new technologies and developments into practise more quickly.
