Our facilities are located in Barnsley, Birmingham, Bristol, Oxford and Southampton, providing GMP manufacturing and laboratory services.

Clinical Biotechnology Centre

The Clinical Biotechnology Centre in Filton (north of Bristol) is an Innovation Hub for Gene Therapy and manufactures GMP-grade plasmids and viral vectors for academic and commercial customers.

The facility is 940 metres squared and has 10 clean rooms supporting spatially and campaign segregated manufacturing.

Cell therapy and stem cell laboratories

Our sites are strategically located to support cell therapy manufacturing and local stem cell immunotherapy programmes.

We continue to invest in the facilities and infrastructure required to realise the potential of advanced therapy medicines.

All our facilities are licensed by the Human Tissue Authority (HTA), while our laboratories in Barnsley, Birmingham and Bristol are also licensed by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
