Our facilities

Our facilities are located across England, each providing laboratory services to surrounding hospitals.

We have facilities in Liverpool, Barnsley, Birmingham, Bristol, Oxford and Southampton.

Our laboratories in Liverpool, Birmingham and Bristol (including the Clinical Biotechnology Centre) are further licensed to develop and manufacture GMP-grade cellular and molecular therapies.

We continue to invest in the facilities and infrastructure required to realise the potential of advanced therapy medicines. 

The Clinical Biotechnology Centre in Filton (north of Bristol) manufactures GMP-grade plasmids and viral vectors. The facility is 940m2 and has ten clean rooms supporting spatially and campaign segregated manufacturing.
