Freedom of Information Act 2000: Publication Scheme

We routinely publish information to ensure we meet the requirements of the Model Publication Scheme

This scheme was developed for public sector organisations by the Information Commissioner to ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

In addition to the Publication Scheme, and to ensure transparency, we also publish the following information:

As an open and transparent organisation, we are committed to routinely publishing as much information as possible. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on our website, you may ask us for it. This is in accordance with further provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and of the Environmental Information Regulations 2005.

By law we have to deal with such requests within 20 working days.

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of our consideration of your request, you have the right to complain. Please try to resolve the matter internally with us. Any review will normally be under the control and direction of a senior colleague who had no involvement in the original decision process.

If you remain dissatisfied at the conclusion of any review you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office

Fees and charges

There is no charge for non-personal information unless there is a statutory basis for doing so or the amount of time taken to locate the information exceeds 18 hours. This in accordance with The Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the associated Fees Regulations. However we can charge for disbursements related to the provision of information and any reformatting requested by the applicant. But we must let you know of any charges in advance.

No charges will be made for any information accessed via our website.
You will be required to pay a fee for photocopying, reformatting and postage of any information provided in hard copy, unless there is a statutory charge already in place.
