Organ donation speaker requests
A talk or speech about organ donation can be a powerful tool
Requests for speakers or NHS Blood and Transplant representatives at events.
If you are arranging an event and are looking for someone from NHS Blood and Transplant to come along and speak about organ donation or to attend the event, please email your request to: ODTenquiries@nhsbt.nhs.uk
Please note that while we would like to, we are unlikely to be able to meet all speaker requests or requests to attend events. While we may be able to find a local Specialist Nurse for Organ Donation to speak at your event, their availability needs to be balanced against ensuring we can always approach the families of potential organ donors and support them through the donation process.
If we are unable to provide a speaker, we would suggest you either approach your local transplant unit to explore whether a surgeon, clinician or transplant coordinator would be able to attend and speak at your event or deliver the talk yourself as an advocate of organ donation.
