A key partner in organ opt-ins
The Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) makes a significant contribution to the number of people registering to opt-in as organ donors.
The DVLA provide drivers with the opportunity to join the NHS Organ Donor Register when applying for a driving license.
The partnership has delivered over 12.6 million new registrations to the Organ Donor Register in its lifetime, and around 50% of all new registrations come through the scheme each year.
