NHSBT Self-assessment Against Standards for Better Health 2007-08

NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is accountable to the Department of Health for the standard of products and services which we provide. We are subject to the Healthcare Commission's 'Annual Health Check' against the Department of Health's 'Standards for Better Health' - the national process by which NHS performance is measured and assessed.

This is the first time that NHSBT has undergone this process, carrying out a detailed self-assessment against the Department of Health's 'Core Standards for Better Health' in preparation for its annual declaration for 2007-2008. A copy of this self-assessment declaration is available below.
