John Pattullo – Chairman NHS Blood and Transplant
John Pattullo joined NHS Blood and Transplant as Chair in June 2013. He also is also a Non-Executive Director of Electrocomponents, and Trustee for the Prince’s Trust charity, In Kind Direct.
John has more than 30 years experience in international logistics, manufacturing and supply chain. Most recently he was Chief Executive of CEVA, an Amsterdam-based global logistics company, retiring in 2012. Prior to this he was Chief Executive in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Exel (later DHL/Exel) and held a broad range of roles with Procter & Gamble in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Lynda Hamlyn – Chief Executive
Lynda joined the organisation in January 2008. She was elected to the Executive Board of the European Blood Alliance (EBA) in July 2012. Immediately prior to joining NHSBT, Lynda was Chief Executive of Westminster Primary Care Trust, since its inception in 2002. She joined the NHS in 1986 as Director of Services for North Hertfordshire Health Authority. In a career in the NHS spanning over 20 years, she was Chief Executive first of Northamptonshire and then Hertfordshire Health Authority, and a member of the National Specialist Commissioning Advisory Group. She was a non-executive director of Stonham Housing Association from 2003 to 2008.

Dr Christine Costello is a
Consultant Haematologist. She is also a member of the General Medical Council's Fitness to Practise Panel and a GMC Examiner in the clinical examination for international graduates. She is a Justice of the Peace and has previously been a member of the Independent Monitoring Board of Wandsworth Prison.

Roy Griffins CB has been the Chairman of the Board of London City Airport since January 2007 and the British Chairman of the Channel Tunnel Intergovernmental Commission since April 2006. Amongst his other current positions are that of Deputy Chairman of the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust and of the London Borough of Camden's Standards Committee. He is also a Board member of Bristol University's Cabot research institute.

Jeremy Monroe appointed Deputy
Chair of NHSBT in October 2013. Jeremy was the Global Industry Leader in IBM covering Defence, Security and Revenue
Management in the Public Sector. Prior to joining IBM he was a Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers specialising in Supply
Chain Management. He served on PwC’s UK Supervisory Board.

Louise Fullwood is a Legal Director at Pinsent Masons LLP, and was previously a Medical Research Scientist. She was appointed to the Board of NHSBT on 7 October 2013 for four years.
Keith Rigg, is a Consultant Transplant Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust; has been involved in organ donation and transplantation for the last 25 years and is a former President of the British Transplantation Society. He was appointed to the NHSBT Board on 7 October 2013 for four years. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Human Tissue Authority; his term finishes 31 March 2014.

Léonie Austin – Director of Communications
Léonie joined NHSBT in April 2010. Prior to this, she spent five years as Director of Communications at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was central to transforming its service and profile. Before moving to the RICS she enjoyed a successful career in Government communications at the Highways Agency, Department of Trade and Industry, Food Standards Agency and as Director of Communications at the Cabinet Office.
Rob Bradburn – Director of Finance
With more than 20 years experience of senior financial management, Rob joined NHSBT in April 2008 from Premier Foods, where he was interim Head of Finance, Group Procurement. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young, he began a long career at ICI in 1985, culminating in the role of Global Vice-President Finance & Planning, Foods at Quest International in the Netherlands. From 2004-2006, he was Group Finance Director of ABF Ingredients at Associated British Foods PLC.
Mark Cox - Director of Logistics
Mark joined NHSBT in February 2013 having gained 20+ years experience within Logistics. Mark has led operations within both the UK and Europe almost exclusively within the private, value added, 3rd party sector. Mark has held numerous senior and main Board Operational roles though latterly was Head of UK Operations for Healthcare Logistics / Movianto UK which was responsible for delivering 40% of all domestic pharmaceutical products in the UK via a dedicated transport fleet and warehouse network to hospitals, wholesalers, pharmacies and home patients within a next day, timed, and scheduled service offering.
David Evans - Director of Workforce
David has wide experience of HR in the public sector. Before joining NHSBT in June 2006 he was Director of HR and Organisational Development at Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust.
Sally Johnson - Director of Organ Donation and Transplantation
Sally joined NHSBT in September 2008. Previously she was Programme Director responsible for achieving clinical reconfiguration across four South East London Acute Hospital Trusts. Before that she was CEO of Enfield Primary Care Trust for six years. She has also led reviews of seven Ambulance Trusts in South East England and of the NHS contribution to the 2012 Olympic Games.
Michael Potter - Director of Business Transformation Services
Michael joined NHSBT in November 2009 and was appointed Executive Director of Business Transformation Services in June 2011. Before joining NHSBT he worked for the Rural Payments Agency where he was Director of Programmes and Projects. Previous to that he has held a number of senior change leadership positions in both the public and private sector, including at ICI, Boots, Cambridge Management Consultancy and the Environment Agency.
Dr Clive Ronaldson - Director of Blood Supply
Clive's previous experience includes 17 years with Baxter Healthcare, where he was factory manager in the UK. He joined in 1993 to take responsibility for manufacturing and associated activities, becoming Managing Director in September 2005. Having led the National Blood Services as interim Managing Director from July 2007, he was appointed Director of Patient Services in June 2008. Clive became Director of Blood Supply from 1 August 2012.
Dr Lorna Williamson - Medical and Research Director
Lorna took up her current post in 2007, after 16 years as an academic consultant with the University of Cambridge/National Blood Service. She was a founder of the UK haemovigilance scheme SHOT, and the NHSBT/MRC Clinical Studies Unit. Her interests are in clinical trials and policy making on safety issues. Lorna is a Fellow of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge.
Dr Huw Williams - Director of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
Huw joined NHSBT in August 2012. He has a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Birmingham Medical School and has held posts at the Medical School; at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals; Novartis Pharmaceuticals; Baxter Healthcare and most recently at Cephalon UK. His expertise is in biopharmacy, medical devices and renal and cancer services to the NHS.
